in america, depending on your specialization you get a minimum of 110,000 dollars to around 300,000 dollars per year. that is why the cost of a medical education is quite high. it will eventually pay off when you start workiing. as an engineer, nurse and other professionals around 60,000dollars to 75,000 dollars. as a police, soldier, teacher and other similar work you get around 25,000 dollars to 35,000 dollars. if money is not important to you then go for the lower paying jobs you might get more satisfaction there. but remember in our society money talks.

You're not one of the "smart" kids so don't worry about it.
*high school
*college
*fields
*paid

If you are taking classes for college credit, it is highly unlikely that these credits will be upper-level ranked courses that will get you into medical school. These will probably just fulfill general education requirements once you start your actual college career. Why does it matter how much money each specialty makes? There are dozens. It's not like you'll be specializing in medical classes as a high school student.

Excuse me for being grouchy...it's late. Hmm

My husband is a P.A. and works for heart surgeons. Their corporation pays them $550,000 a year as their salary and then they split any profits above that. Now if you figure that it costs a little over 100,000 for medical school that is a great investment.

Work hard and pretend to be a smart kid, even if you aren't really one the hard work will pay off in the end!
