what bothers me the most is when most people sit down to eat they dont wash their hands or say grace, saying grace is so important cause if it wasnt for the lord we wouldnt be eating it.

Smacking,slurping ( particurally with soup-soup seems to be challengng for some to eat, and I won't say that I'm not one of those people) and paying no mind to scraping utensils on the plate. urgghhh..yeah, the utensils on the plate gives me a chill as I type.

When they eat and lick their fingers, then don't remember and want to touch something on your side of the table, like your spoon or fork or glass or book or magazine.
Or also, when they're eating, then they want to come around and talk next to you, show you something they're reading and start breathing all over your plate and your space, even giving those little spits.

when people eat soup and they slurp it out of their spoon, i know soup is hot at first, but if you've been eating the same bowl for the last 10 minutes its probably cold, knock it off!!!!!! I also don't like when people eat steak and they really get to chomping on it, it makes this really gross sound - too much saliva in the mouth - and it sounds like they are kinda snorting.....they sound like pigs!

Smacking noises, with their mouths open. Ugh. And the way my 13-year old son will pop only a pinhole in the top of his soda can and then suck the soda out - that drives me batsh#*.

i work with a chinese guy,,,"he was born in USA, not china", who has the worst eating habits of any body i have ever seen..i ate lunch with him twice and i refuse to put my self through that again...i almost lost my lunch watching him slurp and stuff food in his mouth

Lack of manners. I feel that is one thing that seperates humans from animals, further I am sad to say that manners are becoming a lost art.

finger licking b/c more people don't wash their hands before they eat and with the exception of BBQ, no food is worth it!!!

I hate when people chew with their mouth open and smack, I also hate it for people to lick their fingers!
