This is fairly simple to do with Adobe photoshop.
Open the color photo
Duplicate the layer
Desaturate the layer (make it black & white)
Using the eraser, remove the parts on this layer that you want in color.

this is simply done by choosing where you want the image to go b/w, and which one in color. After you choose which ones, select the places you want to be in b/w (the original image needs to be done in color FYI) and put the filter to made them b/w. You'll need a photo editing program like Photoshop (http://www.adobe.com/ , $$$) or Gimp (http://www.gimp.org/ , free)

putting color on a black and white photo is pretty easy. you will have to get adobe photoshop pro or any photoshop type of software.
