What I find ironic is that this question presupposes all non-christian thought is a lie.

That if you believe in God than you can't believe in dinosaurs.
That is not true. With God all things are possible and just cause it
is not mentioned in the Bible that doesn't mean that it never existed.
The Bible also does not give time frames on things so there is room
for debate on what could have happened when. I suppose that was
hard because it came from a good friend that is an atheist and
that I could not share Christ's love over such a trivial thing.

The worst lies I have ever heard where generalizations. Anything negative that begins with "All Christians..." (or Jews, Muslims, Hindus, etc) is a detrimental lie that puts up barriers when we all need understanding more than ever.

All the people I know know about Jesus. I don't know any non-Christians. Weird, huh? I'm a hermit. I live with my family tho, so I'm not a TOTAL hermit. I just go from my home to my work and mind my own business, and if anyone lies to me about anything, I just say, "Is that so?" and continue on as if nothing happened. The strangest group of people I've ever met have been here. I think there are one or two here who are quite smug.

I was told that my bible was a crutch for a false hope of believing in something that didn't really exist and was created by man to make it through another day believing that someone out there really cares.

Waiting for the absurd comments.

Blue: Until evidence is given "no god" is the default position. You are yet to give any evidence for a deity.

Raggae: The truth hurts.

That God is hateful.. but sometimes I think that most of the time when I hear that it comes from people who would call themselves "Christian" though they may not know what it means.
