Yes it should because anything you give without wanting anything back in return is unconditional love.

Kind of a slippery question, the way you worded it. I think true giving is always unconditional, except when it depends on the recipient's acceptance of the gift.

providing the truth should never be a conditional thing. To be clear of ones conscience and to know that what you are is directly related to how you are percieved by others and how you view yourself. Telling the truth is sometimes hard to do but as the old saying goes "nothing worth doing has ever been easy"
and Telling the truth is one of the hardest things a peson can do.

Not unconditional - it should be out of love for the person.

Yes. What does Jesus expect from you? He desires you to come to Him but I doubt if He expects you to. People do favors all the time and get paid back later but true giving from the heart is totally selfless giving. If you can give or do something for someone else with no expectation of return you have demonstrated where your heart is. If you expect something in return it shows that you are thinking about yourself.

First, you have to understand what unconditional means. Do you fully know what that would imply? That even if they took a machine gun and murdered everybody you know, that you would still love/be giving to them. Unconditional does not exist. Sorry for those of you who think it does, but if somebody got you pissed enough, you wouldn't love them anymore I guarentee it.

Yes.
When one gives something with conditions then one hasn't given anything. One has only loaned something.
True giving can only be unconditional.

yes, for giving is from the heart. to give is also to show love, without the expectation of that love always returned. giving can be in so many ways.
one thing i can say dont listen to those who say giving is demanded from god to give a % or you will be cursed. they are wrong. you can give in time you use to help others, items you can donate, skills you can teach others. giving can be the gift god gave you to help or teach or show someone care.

If you give someone, you HAVE TO LET IT GO. Give someone because you want to, not for expecting something back. Don't feel dissapointed if that person never give you back in return. That's why I hate it when someone give me something and I feel obligated.

Yes, we should give expecting nothing in return. That is true giving.
