I would wear something casual (but stylish if you like). Tips for middle school, hmmm. Keep an assignment notebook. This will probably be the first time you switch for several classes and your teachers will not keep track of all of your homework for you. Try to keep your locker clean - it's hell when you need to find a paper and there's billions stashed in there. Try not to give your teachers attitude. They face upwards of 120 kids a day, give them a break. Study - don't assume everything will be cake. And the thing I was always worst at - DON'T PROCRASTINATE. A teacher can tell when you have and it could hurt your grade. If kids do make fun of you, hang in there, it won't last forever. Find a group of friends that you can trust and hang with them, don't worry about having to be the most popular.
Ok I think that's enough. =)
Try to have fun. I know it's school, and hard work... but this is your LIFE - enjoy it.
If you aren't in classes with your best friend(s) a cool way to keep in touch is to keep a note notebook. If you started it - you write something to her, then when you see her in the hall give her the notebook and you can keep passing it back and forth. There is less chance of it falling into the wrong hands (like a folded note could fall out of your pocket) and you are less likely to get caught by your teacher because it will just look like you're writing in your notebook. =)

depends on the school, but if you're going to a public school, no, casual's fine. personally, I hated middle school. with a firey passion haha it's an awkward time in people's lives. I think most people dislike it, but I'm not sure ^^; Just be yourself, realize that you and the people around you are going to be changing (mentally, physically, emotionally) and that you're gonna have to deal with schoolwork at the same time. It can be hard, but it's definitely do-able! :D Stay strong, believe in yourself, and you'll do great! Also, since you probably have more options now in your classes, try to choose an elective in something you love. It'll make life a lot more enjoyable :D good luck!

If you really want to do the best thing for YOU, focus on your schoolwork and not on cliques. Keep in mind that social clubs, snobs, bullies, etc, are but for a brief period of time in your life, but the outcome of your study habits will go with you for life. You'll never have to see or deal with those people again after graduation, so don't let their attitudes and posessions consume you. God bless.

I'm a middle school teacher, and when I saw your question, I got so excited waiting to share my profound wisdom...
...oh...
Clothes? Fashion?
Hmmmm--that's why I got into this job...
By the way--1) Be organized; 2) Clothes don't matter, but casual helps you relax.

(in fact, you mustn't be on Yahoo!solutions-- the regulations say 13+ in basic terms. in case you're no longer in center college you're no longer 13~ shhhh :D) nicely needless to say in case you went to a public uncomplicated college issues would be diverse. fundamentals: each and every concern is taught via a diverse instructor with rooms around the school. you have possibly 3-4 minutes to get to each and each class, should not be a concern until eventually it rather is rather some distance away. in case you're no longer on time you may write a prior due fee ticket or some thing and punishment for too many lates would be made via the instructor. finding on the place you pass, you have gotten 7 classes (training) an afternoon, or 8 and you may desire to change days. touch your counselor for that stuff. Lockers: first week, you get a locker it rather is assigned to you via quantity. Be speedy at beginning that! you do no longer could pass between each and every class, attempt looking components for the subsequent class sooer, yet you're no longer allowed to hold a backpack around. Backpacks could be saved on your locker. well being middle: you get a well being middle uniform (probable, would desire to no longer finding on your college lower back). The showers are exceedingly plenty ineffective in case you have showers on your locker room. You on no account would have time to bathe. you may deliver a uniform daily. in actuality in center college you have much less freedom, greater beneficial area to roam, and much less time to do each and every thing. :) do no longer stress. each and all of the particular assets you will would desire to ask somebody on your college. each and every county is diverse in teh way they run, case in point I used to have 8 classes and my chum 7... desire this facilitates! (whew!)

Really middle school isnt that bad, everyone is in their akward stages of life. Just find friends the first few weeks of school and you will be all good. Don't worry everyone is scared and will be wanting to make friends too, so it will be easy. Just dress like yourself dont try to dress in something that isnt you.

Take it easy, and meet new people.
Middle school is fun.
Watch out for cyber harrasment which I hear is pretty bad in middle school these days.
If people write mean things about you on the internet, try not to let them bother you. There are plenty of people who won't think it's funny.
