I just was hoping someone would have some good advice for me. I am taking my last class in college, graduating with a history degree and working in an accounting office (yes I know its weird) I have been studying for the flight test a bit now. I spent 2 1/2 years in Army ROTC in college but had to get out because of class conflicts. I have a good grasp on general military knowledge and understanding. I am 5'1" and about 100 pounds and in good shape. I'm just looking for any advice that would be useful. Thanks in advance!

Your degree is not competetive for OCS at this time. As for whether or not you could pass the Flight Physical to even qualify for Aviation/NFO, I don't know. You may actually be too short.

You might otherwise qualify for SWO, but again, your degree is not what the Navy is currently looking for in it's Officers. SWOs have Navigators, too.

I agree that your stature may be an issue, however I think this is a question that would better be suited for a recruiter type. As for the Navy not wanted anyone with a history degree, I have never heard that one, and have known officers with a history degree. However, with that being said I have never known any flight officers with such a degree.
