I’m girl, but I’m very athletic. But doing push ups for me is so hard. My job requires for me to carry heavy things, I don't have trouble with that. I run 3 times a week or more if I can. I can do sit-ups really easy. But when it comes to push ups, I struggle so much. I have long arms and there skinny, could that be the problem?

From personal experience:

Lifting stuff and any "hard work" doesnt really build muscle. The amount of rest you get in between lifting or whatever kinda kills any hope of building muscle. Its good that you run and all but remember, you're not building any muscle that you're not working.

As a guy, I can do a set of 30, a set of 25 and a set of 25 with 30 second rests. If you are looking to build the muscle, give yourself as little rest between sets and all. As a girl, Id say start at 18, then do 16, then 14. These were the high school standards for girls. If you do them right, you will feel sore the next day. If you aren't feeling it, just do more.

You have to train yourself.
Try 10 set a day 5 reps each set atleast
3 set after waking up
3 set after lunch
2 set in the evening
2 set before going to bed

this will give you more strength

i would suggest working on the muscles used for push ups. work w/ dumbbells for triceps, delts(shoulders) and pecs(chest). Look up various exercises you can do to strengthen these muscles groups.

start to build up yr strenght in doing other exercises first. read tips on exercising and more on this site

try lifting weights to build up your arm muscles first

you should have sex twice regulalry for 15 days, i think it will surely resolve your problem
