Tell her you have feelings for her and explain how it came to be. Tell her how you love being with her, the little things she does that puts a smile on your face. How you work your butt off or make time just to see her, if only for a few minutes. Something like that. Just don't say I love you. If she feels the same way then work with that and you'll know when to say I love you. But for now take it slow and just explain how you feel.

Oh my God that is awesome!
Congrads, I would say to you, just tell her with a confidence and if you know this woman for a year your should be confident that she won't take it to strongly. However, I know that If this woman doesn't feel the same way she may take it in a freaked out manner. And I would not tell her that you love her and all this other stuff. I would start of small. Start by sending her cards every day or every week send her gifts and tell her its from a secret admirer. Get her mind jogging and thinking, and then tell her because She'll want to know. It leaves the door open for her to hear you. Just a suggestion.

Hey cowboy,
I would start off with asking her out outside of work. This way you get to know each other and it lets her know that maybe you want more. Find out what she likes (coffee, jazz, sporting events) and suggest you guys go together. After you are dating you should know if your feelings are getting stronger and if they are returned.
Hope this helps and I hope it goes well for you and your girl.

I would suggest that you spend some alone time with her as just friends to see if there is potential for a relationship to happen and to also find out how she feels about you.

maybe you should ask her out to dinner or something like that. Intimate setting you will be able to gauge whether she feels the same or even make it easier to tell her how you feel.

You could always just drop subtle hints; smile at her whenever you speak, find any excuse to talk to her; ask her out to lunch or something...simple stuff.

SINCE YOU BEEN FRIENDS WITH HER AND YOU WORK
WITH HER, THEN JUST CASUAL ASK HER OUT TO LUNCH
OR COFFEE. ETC, AND GO FROM THERE. THERE A LOT
OF THINGS YOU CAN TALK ABOUT AT WORK. TAKE IT
SLOW, AND SEE HOW IT GOES.
