She obviously knows that u r a smoker. Why do you need to tell her this, has she asked you to and why? Have a talk with her. If your a responsible smoker, I don't see why you should quit (except you for pre employ screens, or what ever). Unless she has to quit do to pregnancy, which you would be generous to stop with her for that, or if your an idiot whilst high.
I would just explain that its just your thing, you are responsible, and you enjoy smoking it. By now you are probably mentally addicted to it, (as am I, I will be in a foul *** mood, take 2 or 3 puffs, and BLAM. mood-o chang-o). Tell her that it is safer than drinking all the time, and you aren't all hooked on hard *** drugs. Then listen to her, if she's unhappy let her know that ure an adult, and she knew about your habit up til now. Good Luck

I've been in the exact same situation as you, just I'm the girlfriend and my boyfriend has been smoking pot for about 10 years....
I didn't have a huge problem with him smoking weed, I just didn't like it around me all the time. I was also really worried about the chance of brain damage and throat or lung cancer.
He flat out told me that he wasn't going to change, it helps him throughout the day. I don't agree with him, but it's his choice. We came to the compromise that he won't bring it around me too much.
Just tell her calmly and be understanding. If she can't handle the pot, she's not the girl for you if you REFUSE to stop.

Just tell here and if she will not accept it and love you for who you are then well you know what to do... Although remember.. you many never find someone like here again if you really love here and drugs are something you can live without.. One other thing.. if you stopped.. think about all the money you would be saving to take her out..

just keep doin it bro. forget what the world thinks. forget what ur girl thinks. just do what you want. if ur girl doesnt approve then get a girl that has the same interests as u do. pass it to the left, cuz the right way is wrong.
