Call the number on the back of the Lotto ticket! Then pray, seriously if you really want to stop, to God and ask him to help you.. Then just try to avoid gambling & keep praying, you will find it easier to overcome day by day... I wish you the best! I had a friend addicted to bingo, slots, & poker. She would go to the casino when she got off work, and stay until 5 or 6 am a lot of times... She would spend her entire check, & she was always borrowing so she owed a lot of people $$$. She lost her house, husband, son, car, everything, because of her gambling problem.. She was in denial about having a problem! But over the past 3 years she has slowed down a lot compared to how she was.. Now she plays bingo almost everynight, which isnt too expensive, but she stays away from the slots, and poker. She's nowhere near as bad as she used to be.. But now she's in debt, and owes out over $50,000. to friends and relatives. That does not include the bill collectors that want their money!!!! So, i really wish you the best. If it is just as bad as the above, stop and try to make it better now, never too late to save yourself... Good Luck!

900 dollars a week? that's not much! Some many people loose much more! I think the reason you have a problem is that you have a winning history. If someone wins once, he is hooked by gambling. That is the point! So you got long-run loss? with short run winnings? And you think you can win for ever? NEVER! Statistically NEVER! So, FORGET ALL your winnings, AND REMEMBER ONLY YOUR LOSSES!
If you are Christian, remeber what Jesus told a Samaritan woman when he asked her for some water: " you drink your water and then you are thirsty and want to drink again, but I can give you the water, you drink once and will never be thirsty again"...

Here is a good article for you about Gambling Addiction. At the bottom of the page, you can find several treatments that you can deal with. Having Gambling addiction is like having sex addictions or booze addictions, but at the end there are resources for individuals to get help and get better again. I'm sure most places are confidential so you don't have to worry about others knowing. Also, if you have a very close friend that you could confide in talk to him/her. It'll help you out to discuss your feelings and what you have been going through. I'm sure your close friend will be able to help you out and stuff.

You don't need to depend on others by them telling you you're too weak to overcome something without them and the help of God! Ugh. Create a plan for yourself. If you don't have the money available then you won't be spending it! Invest in an ROTH IRA! It'll give you a great return that is nontaxable. It takes about 1,000 to start. Visit AARP if you have more interest. Investing will allow you to accumulate dinero and then you can start investign in a home or time share. Visit the world. Overcome your fears. You have money, spend it on loved ones or vacations. Get a hobbie maybe go hiking and spend your money on cameras or gear. Its so easy to direct your attention elsewhere. And if you live in Las Vegas or near gambling locations... maybe its time to move away from the apple grove, Eve.

these people are full of crap If gambling is a problem for you its probably because of bad bankroll management and self control I make a decent living playing poker betting on the horses and playing occasional black jack. I hate these people who say you cant win these are the same people who havent studied the game in depth ive been studying gambling for years and I win at it if you dont believe me then its just because you people are jealous

hi friend, think about your money source, or try to get loan from somebody at least one doller to 10 dollers you would know the value of money, you know the gambling is more curious than drinking. if you knew the money value you never go to gambling.
