I am going to vote yes. I support all measures that will move us away from the use of petroleum. Specific individuals may profit but this happens and the end result will move us toward energy independence. We should have not paid attention to Cheney who said that conservation just a personal values choice and was not a factor in energy use.

Clean Air Initiative
Californians might want to review some information on how this affected the people and environment in these states. (Texas, Oklahoma and Louisiana)
Might help them make a choice.

Not a "gold coast" residence

I am not voting.

There is far too much propaganda.

How is 'forcing oil companies to pay' going to improve the environment, as the adverts claim??

Surely this can only be achieved by each consumer making a conscious choice to reduce fuel usage (eg living closer to work, only shopping locally, thinking twice before travelling 10 miles). If consumers are unwilling to take individual responsibility for environmental issues, then higher fuel prices are the only way to force this to happen.
