The only problem is that we as pet owners supposed to be the masters or the kings of our house, our space, our life. But, once you spoiled your dogs the get the be the kings, the kings or your space and life. It is really difficult not to spoiled a dog, but if we say no it has to be no.

You need to break her of the water in the food situation. Here's how. Put the usual amount of dry food in her bowl at the usual time W/O water. Leave it for 15 minutes. If by the end of that time, she doesn't eat, put it back and she doesn't eat for that night. Then, when the next feeding time comes, do the same. Waite 15 minutes, if not eaten put away. Usually by the 3rd or 4th time, depending on the dogs learning capability, dogs realize if they don't eat their food when it is given, they're not gettin any and had better eat before it's gone. The dog carrying thing needs to stop, unless she's a lap dog. Dogs eat because they need to, their hungry and it's instinct. If a large dog is allowed to be lazy and inactive it won't have an apetite to eat. The dog needs to be given a reason to eat, activity and eat time limitation will do the trick. These Instructions Absolutely MUST Be Followed. Don't feel bad that the dog isn't eating for that night. She'll survive. It's called tough love! GOOD LUCK!

First of all, many dogs like their dry food softened up with a bit of water... sometimes it's just easier to eat. So I wouldn't worry about that too much.
Over-spoiling a dog can have a number of bad side effects... mostly you will have a dog that does not see you as the master, and will not be very obedient. If the dog is not already in obedience class, it is a good idea to get them in one. It sounds like she is a puppy, so it's not too late! The spoiling must end before she starts to think that she is the boss.
Try chatting at a dog forum, also. Lots of good information to be found with people who actually know what they are talking about.

Well soon she's gonna be too big for your sister to carry. Just be careful, you spoil her too much and she's gonna believe she's alpha. You should make her work for her treats and food, if she's a pup teach her to sit before giving her anything; she needs to learn nothing in life is free. Then you can spoil her all you want.........hehehe. I've actually heard that it's easier for dogs to digest the dry kibble when you add a little warm water to it (helps break it down or something), we do this for our labX cuz she's a gobbler and it makes her eat slower when her food is moistened.

My mother has treated her dog exactly like a child, and the dog is extremely spoiled. The dog is also very jealous of any attention my mother gives (real) children. She has bitten my son and other children before.
You can stop the spoiling. Do it now before it gets much older.

Spoiling her is not gona help her at all. It will slow down her growth and potential. I know it feels good to spoil. but if you want her to have a normal healthy life span,,Don't....
