Nope. If you want to go to Basic Training (actually called Basic Combat Training) you'd have to be signed up in at least the National Guard or the Reserves, if not active duty. They do have 18 month actve duty contracts now, so it's not much of a burden... though you owe a total of 8 years (all contracts) so you'd owe like 6 more in the reserves.

You do have to commit, but basic is a test. Let me tell you all about it! Okay first off its a living hell. YOU take everything you were used to and throw it out the door. YOu dont do what YOU want to when you want to.YOu do what they tell you. You see no one here will tell you what its really like
YOur day starts at 5 am for pt. You have your run days and you have your muscle failure days. Your run days are anywhere from 2 miles to 6 miles. Your muscle failure days are exactly what they say about an hour of pure abs and pushups.
After that you have chow either in the chow hall or hot a's. hot a's suck. YOu have different tasks you have to complete in different phases.
Red phase is your first 3 mile march to an obstacle course. Also you have what they call red sticks its a march out to a spot in the woods literally and you have to carry about a 45lb rucksack. YOu stay there over night then come back the next day.
White phase youhave more obstacle courses and white sticks which constists of 2 night in the field while you are on the range doing weapon training.
Blue phase is the last phase and the hardest phase. For you to graduate you have to march 9miles in under 1 hour. You then stay out in the field for 7 days 6nights. then you march back 12 miles in under 2 hours. That is the final test besides your pt test.
Let me tell you i screwd up bad while in basic i got an article 15 for getting in a fight with another female. Well i wont go into details but she hit me and lets say she didnt get anything. I had extra duty from about 9 to 12pm. then i would have guard du ty or cq and those ar e 2 hour shifts. lets say i was only getting about 3 hours of sleep a night for 2 weeks. It was t he hardest thing ive ever done!
Basic was great and taught me i could do anything. Screw the guy who said army is pussy. The only thing marines are jarheads and ground pounders!

Well, the answer to your question is: NO. Just like most of the answer here stated. If you want to do something like that, search for Basic Training style workouts. There are some retired military members that have formed workouts designed after BT. They are supervised or you can do it on your own.

it relies upon on what base your going to be dealing with ordinary practise. feet. Knox, and feet. Benning are the hardest 2 ordinary trainings yet both strictly male. feet. Jacksonis commonly used because the finest yet women also flow there for his or her ordinary practise. feet. Lennorwood is yet another ordinary one. Your MOS and sex may actually help to substantiate which one your practise will be at, not no matter in the journey that your reserves, nationwide preserve, or energetic you've a week of reception, then you truthfully flow on your practise organization the position for 8 wks you'll awaken at 5, habit pt. chow (breakfast) prepare, lunch, (prepare, SGT's time) , dinner, hygiene and then lights out. for about 2-3weeks think ofyou've got degrees the position you locate approaches to fireplace and qualify with an M4/ M16 your very last week will purely be delivering kit, kinfolk day, and your commencement i understand through own journey and my friends contained in the military.

I would think not, it costs them to put a person thru the program, but the Marines had a program called Devil Pups for young guys that gave a taste of military life, so the Army might, too.

No. You would have to go to some privately run "boot camp" for that treatment. Basic training costs tax-payer money, and the government knows how to get it's money's worth of you after Basic...

Sorry but if you want to go there just for a workout there is no way you would make it through. If you are planning on going you have to work out and be in shape before going or you will regret it.

If you just want to play soldier run around your backyard. When you get serious then join.
The Army doesn't have time to run a playground for wannabes.

Nope, it's all or nothing when it comes to the military. Do you just want a great workout? Do you want to see if you can actually make it through basic? (I don't think I would last)
