first if the new cats get along with each other then half the problem is solved
second put the 2 cats in a room alone and close the door and let them smell and hear your cat as she heares and smells them
give them some time for that, few days or a week and when they get used to the smell and know about the other one open the doors but do not force them to get closer to each other .. give them time they will get closer when they are ready just give them time
some even switch rooms so they not only smell the other from the closed door but also from the room
it works trust me .. try it

We brought in a new cat to our 3 other cats... lots of hissing and spitting at each other for awhile. After a week or so they got along better. It all resolves into territorial disputes, and your cat feels like it is being invaded by the 2 new ones. I also recommend at least 2 litter boxes in different areas, and they will eventually get used to each other, just give them a little time. Best of luck!

It is normal, especially if they are adults. I would keep an eye on them. Normally I recommend that you introduce them slowly, like putting the new ones in another room and letting the original kitty get used to the smells for a couple of days..
I have an older cat that was introduced into my house 2 years ago. Most of the time they get along fine. He is still prone to hissing and batting at them when he is being an old grump.
Alot of times they will get used to each other but in some cases they may only tolerate each other.
Have at least 2-3 litter boxes to be sure they are comfortable with potty going.
:-)
Good luck to you!

It is natural for Jackie to be aggressive. There is an intruder in his territory. You need to give them time to get to know each other. But there are some things you can do to help. 1. Rub the cats down with the same towel to transfer their scents to each other. 2.Take some time to put Jackie into the Leon's room and allow the new arrival out to explore the rest of its new home in safety. This gives him a chance to find a hiding place if he wants and to learn the smell of Jackie. The older cat meanwhile will be becoming accustomed to Leon's smell, too. Then return the animals to their original places, leaving the door slightly open for a few hours so the cats can see each other. Repeat this process over the next few days.

It could take a while for them to decide who is alpha and where they all rank in comparison to one another. Usually cats will try to stay out of eachother's ways.. but sometimes you can have serious territorial issues.
There are some good cat forums out there. Right now I don't think you need to worry but if there seems to be a lot of problems still a couple weeks down the road, there's some very insightful people on the cat forums that can give you ideas with how to deal.
Here's a few forum links:

This is quite common. Your first cat is being territorial, and is mad because it thinks it's gong to get less of your attention. Just give it time and don't force it, it will happen naturally. They may get into some fights in the mean time, but in a few months things should calm down. If in the event they do get into a fight, just keep an eye on them and see that they don't really hurt each other. Good luck!

Yes. Cats are very territorial. The other cat is simply protecting its space.

Yes it's perfectly normal. They've got to get used to your cat. It will only take about a week.
