How do you feel when the Lord tells you to say something to someone? The other day I took my aunt to the eye doctor and the Lord told me to tell one of the tech that He Loved her and that He liked to hear from her so that he could comfort her.... I was so freaking nervous.... I had to pee. lol :) I know... too much info. Anyway I kept looking at this women to see when she would be alone so that I could tell her this and ALL I could think was oh Lord this women is gonna be a atheist or something and curse me out.... Accuse me of trying to get her involved in a cult or something. lol...... But to my joy when I finally saw that she was alone and that Neither her nor I would get embarrassed by a room full of people for what I was about to say....She looked at me with these eyes and said Oh... Thank you soooo.... Much. I really needed that she said that I had made her day and she talks to God in the mornings. I felt Good that I had listened cause she was having a bad day. So what do you do?

If God asks me to give a word, I give it. There was a time though when I was walking around a lake, and I passed a man. God told me to say "turn your eyes to Jesus" It was the first time that I was given a word to give, and it freaked me out. I didn't give it. I have given quite a few words since. I have to say that it would be difficult if it was to a large crowd, or someone that I knew wouldn't receive it. But God word never returns void. It will impact them in some way. It's our job just to give the word, and after that, it's between the person getting the word and God. God Bless

This comment is for Steve, the person above me. There is a whole spiritual world out there that many people aren't aware of. There are a lot of bad spirits from the Devil. That's why there are so many different religons, phychics etc that all seem to have something. They do, the question is, is it God. It's only God if you're a born again Christian. The devil doesn't care what you believe in, as long as it's not God. He will do whatever he can to deceive people into believeing in anything but God, including performing amazing spiritual acts. Unless you believe in Jesus Christ, it is a product of the Devil.

I know that feeling soooooo well...
"are you sure, Lord...you really want me to..."
I wish I could say I was always an obedient servant...but I can say that when things like this happen, and I listen and obey, the results are ALWAYS positive, and everybody involved is blessed for it.
I'm pretty sure that those times I've hung back, and was too shy or embarrassed to speak out, God sent someone else...and, the only one who missed out on being blessed
was
me......

I tend to be a little more bold, and tell them right away. I do not care if I get chewed out, yelled at, spit on, slapped, or even shot. I have found that as long as I obey God all will be OK.

99% of the time, when God tells you to tell somebody something like that, they are ready to hear it and will be very glad you obeyed God.

I have even been allowed to lead people to Christ by starting out this way. Just continue to be sensitive to Holy Spirit, and obey what He tells you to do.

That is really great. We need to listen and obey what God tells us to do. Always make sure that it is God who is speaking...and even though nervous, we need to follow through with what God has said do..no matter what. It's a two-way street..there is a blessing for the ones that hear what you have to say, and a blessing for you for obey the Lord..You go, sis.

You do exactly what you did! And good for you for being sensitive to the Holy Spirit speaking to you! Sometimes that is all a person needs is for someone to remind them that God is love, and He loves us! I can understand how you would be scared of doing that, esp. if you spend much time on this site and see some of the responses questions like this get. Hang in there, and keep listening, sounds like you are truly a blessing to others! 0:-)

GIRL I AM SOOOO PROUD OF YOU!!! You listened to God and that is the best thing that you could ever do in this life. Don't worry about what people think because probobly someone else also needed to hear that. Don't harden your heart to God. He is the only thing in this world that brings light and true happiness! Keep it up and I do the same thing just get close to that person and tell them what God put in my heart to tell them and it NEVER fails!! You PLANTED a SEED!!. YOU ARE AWESOME!!!

WOW! i think you were really being spoken to. I have never had such an experience, but i do have opportunity to let people know through little hints. I thank the Lord when opportunity comes and it does and there is such a blessing. Be careful and pray often. Study Psalms. Wisdom in the Old Test. May the Lord continue to bless you.

Wow thats awesome and that was just the Holy Spirit just touching the ladie's heart though you. You were an instrument God used to touch her and the only thing to do when u feel God talking to you and you are nervous just be obedient and I am glad that you felt nervous because you are not depending on your self but on God thats awesome. So when you feel nervous ask God to gie you his comfort and allow him to use you. Tell him to speak through you.

Listen and do what God tells you. I was in church with my kids and my ex in laws were there. Me and my ex mother in law had a very rocky relationship while i was married to her son. Anyway at church that night God told me to tell her that i loved her and give her a hug. It took the whole church service before i had the chance to do it but i did. The next day she died of a heart attack if i hadn't listened we would have never made our peace with each other before she died.

Hearing god is something that is not healthy!!! It shows entirely too much self confidence and not nearly enough soul searching (seek and ye shall find) if you have found him already (at a young age I am guessing ) you havn't really found him. You are hearing yourself and what others are programming you to do. Usually people who hear god are extremely dangerous (ie John Calvin, Mohammed ) Ask yourself who you are really hearing, and don't get comfortable in your faith (if you can hear god already than you don't need to move forward anymore and you should be teaching clergy) You probly need to grow some more.
