If you have time, see this image ,have a plant together it's root.I have seen cats won't move away from this plant's root.They eat it and then roll over the plant too.Playing with the plant between their legs like a precious thing. Can you give the name of this plant and it's original botanical name.Thank you for your help.

Thank you for the answers,i check with the catnip images from yahoo image pages,this plant don't have flowers.But have small things below the leaves remaind of flower like in green color.Cat eat only root ,it won't eat that leaves.

I thin you are talking about the Valerian plant. Its scientific name is Valeriana officinalis and it has a similar effect on cats as catnip. The dried roots of the plant attract cats and they will roll on it, drool on it, and chew on it. Hope this helps.

This could be anything, It definatley is not cat nip or Valerian Plant

I would think that that would be a cat nip plant. cats go crazy over cat nip.

cat nip.cat mint,
it is a member of the mint family ,a herb.
although your picture looks like another plant,maybe there are two cat plants.
