If you do ask, ask nicely and state your purpose for asking. If you suspect something in the first place say it outright without going through the whole myspace thing, it will save you a lot of heartache. If you just want to be nosy, tell him and if everything checks out ok, be nice and do a real number and find the perfect layout and everything, that way you could do something nice if your instincts bring up nothing, and he also might think that was what you was going to do in the first place.

I think asking him for his password could be an invasion of his privacy unless you ask him in just the right way. Just be upfront with him and communicate honestly... without communication your relationship is doomed anyway. I had a similiar problem where I was getting jealous over the women on my bfs myspace profile... I can imagine it's a fairly popular problem. Talk to him, express your concern, and if he's any type of a real man he'll be understanding and want to help you relieve this fear.

Sweetie, if your boyfriend is getting private messages from other girls, then he is more likely then not "cheating". Asking for his password isn't going to get you anywhere either because if he is cheating you can bet he won't give up the password.
Try asking. I could be wrong and he may give you the password. If he doesn't, you will have your answer.

He should maybe not give it to you, but sign on for you. Think of it as his own property, you should be able to access it, but you shouldn't have the keys, or he loses his sense of privacy. Make sure he doesn't pull the "trust issues" thing. He may be hiding something if that is a reason why he won't give it to you. You have the rights to exlopre eachother's lives and to know every bit of one another. Don't let a website and stupid flirty girls ruin something good.

well I think yes. my boyfriend and I both are on myspace and we have each others passwords. i've never checked his messages and I totally doubt that he has checked mine. Its an trust issue. Myspace is how he and i communicate and how he communicates with is friends in Chicago, but yea I wonder what people are emailing him and what his replyes are but i dont want to lessen that trust. so I guess with our without the password your better off chick

No, not unless you really really feel that he is cheating on you with these other girls. And if you have definite proof that he is talking sex and meeting with them. Because if you just go and demand his password and find out that the girls are just friends that he talks to on there and not about sex stuff, just the casual things like music and such, he could feel totally betrayed like you don't even trust him. And that can really put a strain on your relationship.

If he is true to you and just has friends on his myspace then him giving you his password shouldn't be a big deal. But if he refuses, odds are that he is flirting and doing things he shouldn't be doing.

If you don't trust him, then what's the point of being in a relationship with him?
