Hubby and I met when I was 15 and he was 16. I'm now...well, let's just say somewhat past twice that age. We didn't date, however. We ended up going to the same college and hung out together since we were from the same high school. Eventually, we got dated and got married. We're both agnostics and have shocked most of our now divorced devout friends by hanging in there longer than they have. The key here is that we are friendly with each other, are still hot for each other and know that we've got the best we could ever hope for right here at home. We joke that that we've stayed together for the kids but it goes beyond that. We really enjoy each other's company and compliment each other's personal style very well.

I only wish others could have it this way.

A lady at my church met her husband when they were both 11 years old. They just celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary! (They are both over 80). They still hold hands in church. It's real cute.
