Met a guy, who i have slept with a couple of times now, at first he said he wanted to see how things went as he had gotten out of a messy relationship a couple of months ago and wanted to take things slow, after wed seen each other a couple of times and text messaged each other alot for a few days he gave me the not ready for a relationship lets be friends speech. He kept going on about how much he liked me and that it sucked it couldnt work out, then the other night was text messaging him when i was slightly drunk lol and he agreed to think about whether we could make a go of things, instead of leaving it at this i sent him a few more drunken texts which he didnt reply to, next day i sent him a msg apoligising for my drunken texts and he still has not replied!!! Do i just leave it and not contact him again, or contact him and what should i say????

uh... anyway........who knows what guys are thinking, but dont listen to the other stupid people that answered this question.
You're too good for him, and hes probably too immature to be with you anyway. He's not using you because you got something out of it too!! :)
The best way to get his attention is to ignore him. Try it.

Listen whatever you sent him in your text might have made him feel uncomfortable. But he should be man enough to tell you whether he wants to try something with you or not. Now he could still be upset or altered by his past relationship so just be patient. If he wants a relationship or get to know you in that way he'll tell you, but if he doesan't don't stress couz it's not worth it if he can't give you a solid response

Honey, you already know the answer. Put down the cell phone and back away. Occupy your time with something else other than thinking about him. You'll get a booty call from him some day.

Sorry to say this but it sounds like you are pushing yourself on him. Back up and give this guy some space. If he just got out of one relationship maybe he isn't ready to commit to another one. If you like this guy don't push him anyway any more and see if this will work out.

Sadly it sounds like he was just using you. I suggest not making further contact with him, as doing so, would probably lower your self-esteem.
And you might think about the getting drunk thing; sounds like you do not have much control when drinking!

I hate guys, I have a similar situation where I put out too early in the relationship. Its never gonna be anything more...enjoy it for what it is. Erase his number, he'll call, unfortunatley it'll just be to get laid.

I would leave it alone. If he wants to be with you he will be.
If he was a little leary before, you might have just ended it before it even began with the drunken txt msgs.
Move on.

He was just after what he got.....SEX. I am sorry to say that but it sounds like he was just out for one thing. Just let it go. If he truly means that he wished it would have worked, he will come around and be with you.

Well If he isnt texting you back......tell him that youre not gonna talk to him unless he calls you then id jus leave it at that and not call him or text him back till he contacts you

Just leave him. If he is really interested he will get in touch with you.
Maybe your drunken behaviour scared him off.
