Read any of the books by Adele Faber and Elaine Mazlitsh. They write a tremendously helpful series of parenting books that are useful when dealing with kids, adult siblings and people in general. They've really helped my family clarify what's important and, best of all, we've found that by sticking to some of the ideas laid out in the books, it's much easier to live in peace (both because the kids aren't bickering and because we feel like we now KNOW we're doing the right thing as parents).

Try "How To Listen So Kids Will Talk...", "Siblings Without Rivalry" and "Liberated Parents, Liberated Children: Your Guide to a Happier Family"

A mother doesn't have instructions. Marriage takes two not one. The answer can't be summed up in this but both come from your heart. Care for your child help them through this world you brought them into this world and its your responsibility to always be there for them. Marriage is kind of the same you married the person so always be there for them. Talk about things and help one another around the house be one anothers best friend and don't forget to schedule alone time which doesn't come often as a mother. Pray that God watches over and protects your family and makes your marriage a strong one.

Please take this seriously. I asked this same question in my Bible study group, and a friend of mine gave me this prayer.
Fix Me First
Soften, humble and mold my heart. Set me free of unforgiveness, self pity, anger and hatred. Transform, reconstruct and free me of everything that is not of you, help me to have a good attitude.
Show me when to speak and when to pray. Temper my words with your spirit. Show me how to make my home a safe haven to build up my family,a place where creativity flows and communication is on-going, help me to keep the house clean, the laundry done, kitchen in order, pantry and fridge full and the beds made.
Tear down the wall of hardness around my heart and show me how to respect my husband the way you want me to.

This prayer helped me a lot, also there is a book by Stormie O'Martain called "The power of a Praying Wife" and another "The Power of a praying Mother" they are wonderful books and even if you don't practice the suggestions daily, at least you will have the choice. I found both books to be exceptional and helpful. GOOD LUCK!

Red cross does have parenting classes. But as for the wife part. Get the program called "light my fire". Aside from keeping the house clean and orderly and keeping up with the laundry, cooking 3 meals a day and doing the dishes and providing your man with good sex. Be kind, understating, attentive, and thoughtful to your children and husband. That is all there is too it.

You dont!!! You just be yourself and you will be the best wife and mother any husband or child could ever wish for. Just be you! Love and be Loved. Never forget that you are the only one who can correctly judge you. Just be true.

Stop defying your husband, and start obeying him. Be a good example to your children. Love them and him. I mean really love or care about, not pretend to. When the children are older than 22, let them make their own decisions, no matter where they live.
