I am not a doctor but i do know depression when i see it as i went through it myself after getting hurt and being put in this wheelchair for the rest of my life. To me you do sound as if you are going through depression and the cutting yourself is a really serious issue. It will be hard but you need too find a doctor that you will feel comfortable with. It will take a while but once you find one and actually open up and talk about what all is going on in your life. After you do this you will get help and over time it will get better. Please for your own sake start looking for a doctor ok. Life is too short too have to live that way. I hope this helps you. Peace

I'm sure that you do have some depression, although, I wonder about other things such as abuse. You say your past is not good. You have many signs of someone that has been abused - the cutting, not wanting to be touched, having problems at night. The voice could just be you telling yourself that you are worthless and other negative things that aren't true. If you have someone you can talk to please do. It sounds as if you may need some therapy, and to get on some kind of anti-depressants.
feel free to email me if you like.

I believe that you have a major depressive syndrome with psychotic features (you don't describe any "manic" states
so its hard to say you are Bipolar- do you have violent mood swings?).
If you are truly "hearing voices' then you have a psychotic illness
and need urgent medical and psychiatric care.
Your never to young to have depression or to hurt yourself..
Please don't wait too long--- hopefully you have a caring parent relative or friend in your life who you can tell this tto so that you can get immediate attention.
Good luck

So is it an audience that you want..or relief from what you are feeling? You could die tomorrow, like any of us, and the sun will still shine, the traffic will still jam, Starbucks will still be selling coffee..in other words if you don't care more than anyone about you...your ****** kiddo. So .....whats stopping you from taking some meds? Then find a job, stick to it, and get the hell away from whoever is bad for you. Who is taking you from your center and messing you up anyway? You like the rest of us should ask this of yourself.

This makes me sad! You are depressed, definitely! Just remember, it is a chemical imbalance...it is not you or your fault. There's nothing wierd or strange about you. Please listen to your Doctor. Be honest with him/her about your feelings of worthlessness. You are going through alot but it is not going to be this way forever. You are young & have so much life to live. Get help now so that you can get out of this depression & enjoy being young & alive. So many people are going through this, but there are medications that will help you...I know, I've been there & I myself take medication. There is nothing to be embarresed about. Depression is a chemical imbalance in the brain that you have no control over. Please get help & start living your life. I wish you all the best & pray that you will soon be feeling much better.

Many of us are not medical professionals and can't diagnose you properly. If you are unsure of your doctor's diagnosis, you should get an appointment with another medical professional and get a second opinion. It does sound like you're not enjoying life to the fullest though, so if you can afford to get help, get help while you can! There's no reason to go through life depressed if you don't have to.

Everyone feels depressed now and then...the difference between that scenario and you is that yours is in a persisitent state. You need help, dear one, and you need it now rather than later. This is a dangerous time for you, and you must seek the help of an adult you can trust, be that a relative, neighbor, or parent of a good friend.
May the Lord bless and keep you, child.
