Once more, a flawed question in which the conditions of engagement are not clearly defined.

So, I am going to assume open terrain, coming head on, with even numbers and the standard weapon load for "green" operations. And that is pretty much the worst way to engage an enemy.

My money is on the SAS. The Brits were the first to come up with modern permanent special forces units as we know them today. They wrote the playbooks an then some. Also, british training and standards are superior to their US counterparts.

So it comes down to training here.

Well alex v the answer is neither, because all training and operations in Delta are exactly the same as that of the Special Air Service, Often times we work and train together on various Ops. the only thing that could be argued here is that the 1st SFOD-D was created and modeled after the British 22nd S.A.S, and so it goes to say that, they the S.A.S was our stepping stone per say. Although most of the weapons systems and comm equipment are state of the art and technologically more advanced than that of our brother CAG's which include Britain's 22 SAS, France's GIGN, Germany's GSG-9, Israel's Sayeret Matkal/Unit 269, and Australia's own Special Air Service Regiment, still all of these units work in close cooperation with each other so as to improve the skills/information of all unit members as a whole. even though this was not the answer you were looking for it is the best i can do for your question.

Delta, etc. they have satellite tv for pc get admission to and greater UAV predators on call for, all the get admission to to all the chocolates... Rangers, even with the shown fact that, have plenty greater density of direct hearth medium weapons, and haven't any subject concerns destroying something interior of a existence like radius of a suspected objective...and that they could do greater shooting, much less "making plans" than all of us else. The Spetz, solid adult males, yet a sprint dated, and tend to ask what they could elect theses warehouses for in the event that they have been wiped clean out...THen the Vyempel could shoot them as being threats to the state. LAPD could be arguing ROE with the golf green berets long after the different team had taken administration of the completed section. The Brits could throw out some crumpets as bait, in view that they seem to be doughnuts. the seals could lose because of the fact they and the Marines could be spending all their time proving to the FBI adult males who develop into the toughest....and the FBI adult males could elect to renowned who the hostage is. The Brits and IDF could look at this as a ludicrous exercising in futility, and merely call in airstrikes.

Delta was modeled on the SAS but remember remakes are never as good, the very first mission Delta did was a disaster and they still make mistakes today. The SAS are the best and even the Americans acknowledge that and its just a worldwide well known fact that the British military is the best.

SAS would slaughter Delta or even Navy SEALS,Green Berets etc....

Actually after the movie and book "Black Hawk Down" Deltas cover was blown as the whole point of Delta was that they DIDN'T exsist so they DIDN'T have to follow geneva (the geneva convention).

Also their country (US) coudn't be blamed for their actions because they didn't exsist.

Whereas the SAS is known to be exsisting and the Brits just have them as elite forces not special commandos who carry out jobs their country can't touch.

So because of this publicity Delta has probably been disbanded and a new unit most likely has been formed.

In which case they would beat kick the SAS cause the SAS wouldn't know who they were fighting.

Also SAS stands for Special Air Service meaning they are better at parardroping at night (like a HALO drop) behind enemy lines than infiltrating by foot.

Easy SAS.

Simply as there are alot more personnel in SAS then Delta.

Throw in rest of services spec forces then SAS outnumbered.

And as the Delta brother mentioned training and outfitting similar if not exact nowdays(it's a logistics thingy)

But if you had said SEALS... lol

Depends on the weapons, how many each side had and the terrain none of which you have specified.
