It seems as if alot of teenagers in my town like to kick open the bathroom door when someone is on the toilet at a public place and they get a thrill in doing it. What do you think should be done to combat this problem? What consequences should these teens face?

Community service...send them to the local retirement home and have them clean up those who wear diapers...for about six months!!!

They certainly need etiquette help!
Maybe the town council or something can work out a fine program ... like $1000 fine for doing it.
The teens should have that and their names posted in the local newspaper for doing that... for shame...maybe it will make them feel a little ashamed for wanting to kick the door in and see someone going to the bathroom. They just want to be in control -- and it's time some other people take control of THEM!!

Oh my word now we need security guards at ladies loos! If I was young maybe I would retaliate with a water pistol I cannot imagine, older people must be terrified? I don't think it's an etiquette problem the teenagers simply are not nice. They should be ashamed of themselves it's the act of a bully I should'nt use that loo again next time go somewhere else.

Punishment is needed only if they destroy something but if I were a girl and they did it, a slap on the face would be a good way to start. They are being irresponsible juveniles and there is no cure, but perhaps their parents tolerate this sort of behavior at home. If you know their parents, ask them about it...IN FRONT OF THE RUDE PERSON....it may shame the person and shock the parents that their son/daughter was so uncouth.

that is just rude.
do they have adequite locks on the doors?
i would consider it an act of war.
what thrill are they getting except the idea that they are embarrassing someone that they dont even know.
i think that if that was the case here, i would sit with a can of pepper spray and the first time someone did that to me, i would use it.

i think they all should get a swirly, if it ever happened to me i wouldn't think twice on stopping what I'm doing at that point (cause I'm already humiliated) and shove their heads deep down into the unflushed toilet i was just sitting on!!!!!

Seems as though most of the teens have no manners nowdays, if my daughter ever behaves that way, she's dead meat!

Hi,, try whacking them in the head with a walking stick.... if you dont mind carrying one around.....I would say baseball bat but that would look funny walking around with.....
