so, a lady can be priest, even though paul says that a lady can't be priest. where is the difference between that and people who say that homosexuality is not a sin? both are excuses to do it our way instead of how it is written...

Under no circumstances I will let someone who goes to a lady priest tell me "I am not from this world anymore", while the person is acting exactly like the world. For if you are a believer, you will also believe that the man is above the woman. for the womans crown is the man, and the mans crown is jesus. and it is ME who must tell this to people, ME. the worst of the feminists before.

you can turn it however you want to, a woman is not allowed to teach publicly. a priest must be a man. yes, there is nomore man or woman, slave or free, we are all together in christ. all at the place where we need to be. It doesn't mean we can do what we want. A woman can't be priest and that's it. No discussion it is so clear, can't be clearer.

actually the thing people always reference about paul saying that women should remain quiet in church was written at a particular time in history to a particular church. During this time the women would sit on one side of the church and the men on the other cause that's just how it was done and then during the service or the what we would call bible study i guess scripture study if you will the women would holler out to their husband if they didn't understand something and disrupt the service paul was telling them to remain quiet so as not to disrupt the service. If you go back to the old testament you will find that deborah was a female judge way way back so if a woman can be a judge under jewish laws why can't a woman be a preacher or a priest today. by the way i am not at all feminist i think the world went to hell in a handbasket when the women had to go out into the work force in order for the family to make ends meet i think things were much better off with the man working and the woman home with the kids.

First and foremost, you are mixing up man above woman with husband is the head of the wife.

Women are never told to submit to men, Wives are told to submit to their husbands.

A single woman has no man to submit to. She submits to God.

Now onto the Pastorship of a Church, read a bit more of Pauls writings, he never says a woman cannot be the head of a church,, contrary to popular opinion, he does say that he pleads with women not to become the head of a church, BUT, Paul did put women in charge of some of the early churches.

So, he never says that they cannot, he says that they shouldn't. But he himself did it, so its not a sin or a crime. Paul was of the opinion that men should remain single if they at all could do this. So unless they were consumed with passion and needed to marry, they could, but he wished them not to.
I dont see a whole lot of Pastors and ministers being required to be single, so why are we honing in on women?

Now I will agree whole heartedly, that a married woman cannot be in charge of a church, simply because she must submit to her husband and that would be impossible if he were in the congregation of a body of Christ. Her husband would technically be the Pastor by the bible being the word of God.

For single or widowed women, there are no biblical rules or laws by which to leave them out of ministry. Remember, Paul did put a woman in charge of early churches. He does not state if they were married or single or widowed, but by his other statements, one is led to believe that they would have been single or widowed.

I do believe that they keys to the priesthood lie with the males.
The females do more then anyone realize.
We teach and strengthen our families and we assit our young men in becoming adults that become priest, Bishops, Phophets.
As females we are the ones that do the instilling into our families.

Christians are to follow Christ, not Paul. If they were to follow the teachings of Pual they would be Paulians. Jesus never said a word about female pastors or homosexuals. If those things were big important no-nos than he shoudl have said something. End of story.

You are correct that a woman cannot be the head of a church. For as in the scripture below may be of a married couple the same can be said of single couples. A man (husband) is head of his wife (woman) god didn't invent multiple dating. He created a union of marriage as that a man must also respect and love the woman and use her like a piece of meat. For those who wish to dispute or twist this scripture for many men take only part and treat their women as slave. Also to single men and women if you don’t plan to marry the one you are with, why be with them. God made man and woman to be together as husband and wife not as just man and woman to sleep around with to each other put to be together in marriage. And yes I know some women think they don’t need a man. In a way I feel they just haven't found the right one yet and can’t wait patiently for that man to come. I know there are unworthy men who marry wonderful woman that they mistreat and that will be their own down fall when god’s judgment comes. For if the man mistreat the woman then they also mistreat the words of the lord as well. (See eph.5:25-26)

I went to a church where we had a male pastor, but his wife was acting like head of the church he named her assistant pastor without the church vote, many left because that is unscriptural and she was trying to control us to suit her way.

I don't know what your problem is, but I have heard some awesome female evangelist. I don't hold it against them because they are female - why should you. Besides - If you actually read the Bible look at Easter and Rachel and Ruth - all great women of the Bible and they all preached the gospel. .
