oh makes since now why so many people are short..see my grandma chewed coffee grinds..i wonder if that counts to? she only made it to 4 11..grandpa use to tell her to hold her hand up so he could find her..lol

Nah. I'm 17 and I've been drinking it since I was like 6. I'm average in height, and I'm also proof that the whole 'coffee stunts your growth' saying is just a myth.

Dan, you've not met any coffee-addicts I presume!

My family consists of coffee crazy ppl and personally I take an average of 3 mugs a day. Used to take 7 mugs a day during my Univ. days... but we are all tall people! Should see my brothers, they're 6 fts and still growing (??, maybe.. lol)

I think the caffeine is not good for your health. If you drink more than 2-3 coffee it might hurt you depending on your body size. If I were you I would check disadvantages of caffeine on www.askjeeve.com or any other medical site.
Anyway drinking coffee occasionally wont hurt you.

ABSOLUTELY!!!!!

When I started drinking coffee at 18 many years ago I was 6 foot tall!

Today at 57, I have drunk a LOT of coffee and I am now 4 foot, 9 inches. (I drink a LOT of coffee)

NO,coffee does not stunt your growth.My daughter-in -laws mom is well over "6"feet and she drinks coffee all day long.

Coffee in itself doesn't but it is proven that caffeine will stunt your growth.
