I believe the Bible is the word of God. I am a Christian. Knowledge is not the same as wisdom. You can gain knowledge from reading the Bible. However, it is not wisdom to belittle people who ask questions which are sincere inquiries to them. I believe you have made a mistake to generalize that all humans ask nonsense questions. I don't think the great men of the Bible ever belittled people for their questions. They may have asked other questions to help those inquiring mind think...However, they did not belittle those who asked. You have some apololgies to make.

Yeah the problem with that is you can't take the bible too literally because it's been changed since it's original text. So that means not everything is correct in it. The answers are in there, but only if you read it right. And people should be able to ask whatever they want, whether it would be nonsense or not.

I agree with you ALMOST 100%...I mean...the Old Testament is not something I fully believe in...do you realize we are screwed if it is true.
You understand that when you ask a question like this, you will get not believers as well as believers...common sense will tell you that if they don't believe...that's just it...they don't believe and won't read the bible.
I believe but don't waste your energy on the non believers...it will drive you insane.
GOD BLESS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1
WOW! Am I the only one that can tell how OBVIOUS it was that the asker MEANT Bible answers not ALL ANSWERS LITERALLY. All these people mentioning other stuff like quantum physics...atomic weight...GIVE ME A BREAK...DUH, that's not going to be in the Bible.
They just couldn't answer it without a smart a-ss answer and had to take you literally. Crackheads.

I have read the Bible, and that is why we ask questions, because a lot of what is in the Bible sounds like nonsense.

LOL. You haven't read the Bible all the way through, have you? You're one of those "I-stick-to-the-Gospels-and-maybe-some-Romans-Acts-1&2 Corinthians-on-occasion" Christians, aren't you?
I'm an ex-Christian who was extremely devoted to Christ and the Bible at one time. I know the book backwards and forwards. The Bible CERTAINLY does not have all the answers in it (please direct me to the section on dinosaurs, physics, geology, biology, etc.) and it has several "facts" that are completely incorrect (the Earth does not have "four corners", grinding up some dust and putting it in some water and telling a woman accused of adultery to drink it and then seeing if she gets sick or not is CERTAINLY not a valid method of justice).

Dude - ALL the answers ARE NOT in the BIBLE. Gimme a break. You are right - doesn't matter whether you like it or not - they ain't all in there.
Show me where there is quantum physics?
Aerodynamics?
Decoding the human genome?
Anything related to history after the first century AD?
If ALL the answers ARE in the BIBLE - why are there any other books in print, much less the existence of the Internet?????
I think you should rethink your claim - because it is FALSE.
Whether you like it or not.

I read my Bible. I couldn't find the atomic weight of helium there. Nor did I find out the distance from the Earth to the sun. I couldn't even find out why the sky is blue. Hmmmmmm....
I guess reading other books educated me about other things. God gave us the smarts to understand His world. Not doing so seems to be a sin to me. Try picking up a book sometime. Maybe then you can talk to others about Jesus without sounding like a self-important fool.
