The workplace is full of gossips and backstabbing. I was not able to concentrate on my work. I once told my ex-colleague that moved to another branch for six months that she was lucky to get out of the hell. But then recently, I heard what I said was spread around and to make things worse, that becomes everyone's talk. They said I don't like them. I felt so pissed off. How am I going to do?

Deniy and lie to ever saying anything. Chalk it up as a lesson learned. If you want to keep a secrect then dont tell anybody. Trust yourself and nobody else.

well, see now, you've learned a lesson about who you can trust.
don't sweat it too much. sooner rather than later, they'll be talking about something and someone else. if it's that bad, maybe it's time for you to transfer out. or just get a new job. you don't realize how bad it is until you leave, then you'll wish you had done it sooner. good luck

This is true of most work places. Just do your work and don't say anything that you would not say to some body's face. Be nice to others and this will eventually pass when they have some one else to talk about.
