In my sleep about a year after I retire. I figure by then I will have outlived my usefulness to society and it seems a reasonable end to mortal life.

well you see here's the thing when you go through the pearly gates of heaven what kind of an entrance do you want? I mean being wheeled on a hospital bed with a drip really doesnt cut it for me! I want to smash through those gates backwards at 200 mph in a fireball that a few seconds previously was an Italian Sports Car crying "wooo! Here I am baby! Where are the girls?!"
Now THATS a way to die ;-)

Oh, much pissing blood. I've always loved the blood works. Torn apart by a shark, or die in a sword duel. Why? The blood, the swords. The blood, the shark teeth. The pain, also. So much fun. I want to be an organ donour, though.

I'd like to die in my sleep when I'm 102 because I like that number and I would have lived 2 years over a century and it wouldn't be painful.

each of us was born with a life purpose-- id like to believe that im not here on a whim, or that i did not evolve from a race of monkeys before me--
the perfect time to die would be after i've served my life purpose. then i can face my God and say, i did it Lord-- i did what you tasked me to do. it can come anytime and im not really scared of that. my son died at 5 1/2 and it taught me not to be scared of death. i dont own my life; its a borrowed thing from God. i wont hold onto it way past the time frame for my journey to earth, unless God wants me to stay longer as a bonus for a life well lived.
now, that is IDEAL, as im NOT saying that im living a perfect life, nor am i saying that im a perfect person because im NOT.
how to die? if it's up to me id like to die a quiet death. asleep, as i dream of angels visiting me and welcoming me to paradise. not because im scared of dying a sacrificial death via accidents or something-- but because id like to spare the people im leaving behind of more pains brought about by tragic deaths. id like everyone to be at peace when i die because i love my family and my friends. to the very end, i do not wish to cause anyone pain.

If I could choose how I would die, it would be peacefully in my sleep when I'm too old and feeble to look after myself any more, hopefully around 105.

I would like to die just like a couple that I know of. They were Christian for many years and they were killed instantly in a automobile accident. No cancer, No grieving, just sudden death after a long productive life.

I would like to know I'm about to die and close my eyes and be lifted out of myself. When I'm like 80 years old. I know death can't hurt this way or in your sleep because I've already had out of body experiences.

I want to either die in my sleep when I'm close to 100 or wait til jesus comes and takes the saved to heaven.
