First of all, I respect everyones beliefs, but why is it ok to bash Christianity, but all other religions are off limits. I saw an article in a paper that shows the Pope deformed and a Catholic priest as a demon, thats ok, but as soon as someone does the same to whatever other religion, its considered as anti-(insert religion here) or just plain hatemongering. Is this polititcal correctness at its worst?

i think it's wrong to bash any religion!!!! no matter who u are ,i mean come on who died and left who boss??? indivualality..no one religion is per say...wrong!!!it's their belief that makes them whole ,well one would think so....i say there isn't enough time for some one to be hate-in.....they must be misserable ppl...i feel sorry for em...

I agree. You don't see anyone bashing other religions and if you do it's a big deal. It is my conclusion that Christians are persecuted because it is the only true religion. Satan will not bash his own, but instead promote it. It's proof beyond a doubt.
I see alot of people say all the religions get bashed. Personally, I never seen any other religion get bashed on TV, or the paper, etc... People who say this should provide a link to this bashing because I have not seen it.

Bible says that Christians will be persecuted more and more as time goes on, and that the things done to them will be considered inappropriate and even unlawful to do to any other group.
Kind of funny the way people do exactly what it says they're gonna do, and still think they're right and it's wrong. But then, it says they'll do that, too.
It's just as much political incorrectness, intolerance, and/or hatemongering, regardless of who it's directed at. But we were told to expect it, after all.

Maybe you are not paying attention. Other than Islam, all other religions are bashed on a regular basis. Christians bash every religion. I have seen pictures of Buddha and of the Hindu gods portrayed in a not too flattering manner. Maybe you are blinded and only looking to see if Christians are being bashed.

You see, I'm outside this Christian stuff, as an atheist Satanist, and all that, but Christianity is still followed by many people. A great number of Christians whine about being bashed, but they find it so much fun to attempt to destroy other beliefs, or just shove their scriptures down our throats.

Christians do seem to be the center of most attacks, followed closely by Muslims and then Jews. But certainly you can not believe other religions are 'off limits'. Some of the most ignorant and hateful posts I've seen were addressed to Muslims and Jews.

you are probably noticing the bashing of Christianity more as you are a christian (i assume). Same goes with me. i have been feeling from my first day here that Muslims are bashed here more than anything. i am not okay with disrespecting any religion. i am sorry, but this is where my sense of humour is very limited. that is why, though i am not a christian, i have rated "nanipms" reply a bad one.

people have been bashing Islam ever since 9/11 and maybe even before that!!
judaism also have had it's fair share of bashing!!
christians bash muslims ALL the time.
Atheists bash every one equally.

Yes, it is wrong. I do occasionally make fun of Christians but I was one once. No it isn't right to do so. They do sometimes make it easy though. I know I shouldn't cause I do love them just like anyone else. But I can't be serious on here all the time. Some Christians just take things way to seriously and need to learn to relax and be able to laugh at themselves more. I can laugh at myself and it makes me happier to know I can do that.

Whine about how it's not you, and it's only a few x-tians, but everytime anyone else turns around we are being preached to.
No one like a missionary and that's exactly what the whole cult is.
