Tires could need balancing or you may need front end alignment.

Tires out of balance; tie rod ends going to hell; struts going to hell; bushings in the suspension wearing out-- basically whatever is there to hold the front wheels in place could be wearing out. Have it looked at by a competent mechanic because you are playing a dangerous game. If you lose your ability to steer, you might run off the road and straight into my flower bed. Worse, you might run into the front of a very large truck and it will hurt alot in the 3/10 of a second it takes you to die after the impact.

Did u check to see if there were sticky weights on the inside of the wheel. They could have put sticky weights on. If there are none, get ur tires balanced asap, so not to mess up ur tires. Also go with the alignment. If it still shakes have the wheel bearings checked.

Get the wheels balanced first and have the front end checked at the same time for safety sake.

i had the same problem call your local tire shops and ask if the do Road Force Balance this will tell them everything about your wheels/tires, your tire(s) could be "out of round" which would cause this reaction. Hope this helps

It does sound like a balancing problem. I experienced the same issue, but once I had my tires properly balanced, the problem went away. It's definitely something you want to get checked out.

Unbalanced wheels would be my first choice. The steering (shimmy) damper should be checked also.

You probably just need to balance your tires.
