Are you Muslim, Jew, Christian, etc. and believe you and others have a destiny(fate) by virtue of choices? Why? Is sin not based on the premise that we have choice? If you don't have a choice in your actions, how can you sin?

Perhaps I should elaborate more. The money part is the sin part. Can you sin and be destined for a choice? Such as the modern loathing of Judas in the bible as an example. If supposedly Jesus was destined to be betrayed, why is Judas treated as a sinner? BTW, the bible is not a history book.

BTW it is a history book among other things. the Israelis used biblical passages to find old roads and it helped them win a war in the 1960s many many things in bible are historically accurate and verifiable with other sources. Get educated.
And being Christian is about free choice and personal responsibility not predestination. Judas was condemned because he wasn't repentant, he chose his own will over God's will. That was the problem with Judas. If I choose God's gift of salvation, then it will be mine. But I don't have to choose it. And it's a choice to die to self daily, not a one time choice.

I am a catholic, but I believe that we make our own destiny. We have choices, and our life is the result of some of those choices.
I think that sometimes we like to say that what's happens to us is because fate preordained to it, but I think that this is not so. Sometimes we get some downfalls that we've done nothing to provoke them, so we like to say this is fate. But thats something that happens.
God maked us free. With freedom comes responability to our actions, and to the actions of others, unfortunately. We almost alway have choices, either to take care of our circumstances, do the best of them, or just rant about them.

Well, since I'm the god I worship, I guess I'm montheist. Fate isn't real, it's just a crutch to keep people from accepting their actions. There is no divinity that's already mapped out your life for you. If there was, there'd be no such thing as free will.

We are only human and no human is sinless. We are responsible for our own actions of course and I do believe we have destiny.

It's not an either/or question, but an both/and question. We have free will, AND we also have a destiny. Mind boggling but true.
