Yes and No - I think a quiet guy who is "confident" is very sexy. It shows that he has nothing to prove and is totally content with himself.
A little shyness can be cute, but he needs to be able to open up when the oppurtunity is there.
The loud bragging guys are a total turn-off for me. They obviously are trying to make their low status in life better by acting like an *** and focusing everything on them. If you ever were out on a date with these people, they tend to ignore you and everything with them is just selfish.
A little bragging in the game of love is fine, usually once you get to know someone a bit more, just don't cross the line from confidence to arrogance. As long as it's kept in proper context, then it can become a little mysterious and fun... almost like, "Okay, you talk tough. Now put up or shut up." *LOL*
Kind of a double answer there but thought I should clarify :)

I like a mix of both.. I think shy guys are more romantic and would be better at "making love" but those "loud boisterous guys" are good for a one night stand or just for *******.
So it depends on what the woman defines as "better lover"

Yes to an extent. I'd much rather have the quiet guy, but I do want him to know(and go after) what he wants. It might be difficult, But I can only take so much shyness. Other than that they make much better lovers.

Whether a guy is shy or boisterous has nothing do with how he acts in the bedroom. That's what I think.

It's all about being tuned into the needs of the woman. I don't think it's about the personality type. To be a good lover you have to listen to the woman and truely want to please her.

yes, because they surprise you when the freaky man deep inside them come out those guys that boast and brag about what they got and can do usually leave you bored.
