I pray to god to understand the minds of theists and atheists alike.

I pray to good that I will be able to use my knowledge to help others become acceptable and outgoing so that they can live their lives freely.

I pray to god that those with afflictions will let me know of their pain. I pray to god that those who recognize my afflictions will show me the light.

I pray to good that I will wear these shoes that others have worn so that I can be at one in mind with them. To help them recognize that there is more, and action must be taken.

I pray to god that evil won't be part of our lives anymore.

I pray to good that I will understand why good and evil must be balanced for evolution to take place.

My true question: Why is what I believe to be good, and what I believe to be godly so much different, yet on the same path?

"Why is what I believe to be good, and what I believe to be godly so much different, yet on the same path?"

Proverbs 14:12 There is a way which seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death.

Matthew 7:13 Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: 14 Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it. 15 Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.

John 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

You're praying just like the rest of these Christians. Are there prayers for peace on earth, cure for illness, protection from harm etc being heard? I think not. Keep praying though, maybe after you die you'll get an answer.

i became praying interior the international commerce middle! a lot of people were! Then it collapsed and thousands people were killed. i guess the pilot's Gods received that day. They flew into the towers because they theory their God might want to be extremely joyful! So considering they lost so little, and killed such a large number of, did their God answer their prayers? NO it truly is RIDICULOUS! certain, as ridiculous as believing he responded your prayer to locate your keys, yet shall we a small newborn be rapped for years without help? Pray to the timber like different cultures do! you receives an analogous reaction.

Any prayer that says anything beyond thank you, is symbolic of a lack of faith in God.

It assumes that God would give you something that is not in your best interest.

It assumes that God is less aware of what is best for you than you are. That he needs your help to figure it out.

This is called faith by organized religion but it is actually a complete lack of faith. Trust that God is doing his job and is competent and able to get you back home safely.

Bad assumption, clause 3
You are basing the true path on your belief, not an absolute.

Your prayers are being hindered because you have an agenda to your prayers.
God adheres to no man's agenda; He fulfills His own agenda.

They do that themselves when they look at what they believe. I let you guys go if you quit spreading Gospel, and keep religion in churches. Let me go, I let you go. I am not saying you, but theistic organizations over all.
