Why don't they make Root Beer flavored ice cream?

You could take some vanilla ice cream and melt it until it is in liquid form then pour a root beer in the ice cream. Transfer your "root beer ice cream" back into the container it came from and put it back in the freezer. Let me know how that works!
Of course, you could always get a ice cream maker and make your root beer ice cream from scratch. The good part is you would be able to pronounce all the ingredients! Have Fun!

Because root beer plus the base stuff they make ice cream from tastes like a root-beer float, which is what cream soda is. You would have to make some really serious root beer flavoring to make up for the cream soda taste, and that would be really expensive.

Somewhere has root beer flavored ice cream. California even has a place that makes green tea ice cream, as well as all the other teas and herbs.

They do. They have these little A & W cups of ice cream. About the size of Hoodsies, if you know what those are. You might not be able to find them at your local supermarket, because I didn't but I saw them at a store called "weis" in Damascus, MD. They also have pushup stuff. Or you can make it at home, just add root beer to vanilla ice cream.

no...it will spoil the root beer !! root beer's best to drink with a scoop of vanilla ice cream in it !! root beer float...ahh...that's my favorite.

cause i think that would be gross. they make root beer flavored water ice and its just nasty.
