You can't open the oven right away after the cleaning cycle, by design. You have to wait for it to cool sufficiently, and then it will allow you to open it again. I'm not sure how long, but just wait a while. There is nothing wrong with it, this is exactly how the self-cleaning function is supposed to work.

You won't be able to open the oven until is has cooled enough to be safe - it's a safety feature, since the self-cleaning cycle is 500 degrees (ouch) and if you opened the oven door at that temperature you could get a nasty burn. It may take several hours to cool down to allow the locking mechanism to unlatch.

Read the intructions that came with the oven. Or try to turn the self-cleaning part on again and see what happens. If neither of these things work then you'll have to call some body and tell them you broke your oven. Can you use the top cooking part?

self cleaning ovens reach 500 degree Fahrenheit when it cools down the safety lock will release itself if not put it on clean again and wait the whole cycle .I do not recommend this on a hot day

That's because the oven needs to cool off. Just wait a while, you'll be able to open it up.
