Is "Tiger" his real first name, or is that just a nickname he goes by?

it is just a nickname, and let me dispell some of the myths that are up here. His real name is Eldrick "Tiger" Woods. The quotation marks around tiger means its not his middle name just like Gerorge Herman "Babe" Ruth. He was nicknamed Tiger after a friend of his fathers who fought in Vietnam with the elder woods and has that same nickname, the nickname stuck so he keeps it. He has not changed his name to Tiger, it is still legally Eldrick, he just goes by Tiger. On his marraige certificate he signed it Eldrick Woods, not Tiger. I mean honestly, who would want to go by eldrick? That's pretty much all the history I can give you the name so I hope it helps.
