I wonder how many people who answered this question actually watched the video...... not many , I bet. I watched the whole thing. I want to throw up. People, if you're reading my answer, stop reading it and watch the video. Yeah click on that - we all need to see that, and now.
It is rare for any soldier to speak so candidly about his actions and the actions of his military during a war. It is completely obvious that Iraq is the worst kind of tradgedy perpetrated by the worst kind of politicians, for the worst reasons. I don't know how the a s s h o l e s Bush, Cheney and Rumsfeld can sleep at night when they know there is a huge, huge , pile of bodies stacking up, and most of them innocent Iraqis - every day.
This did it for me. This video. TY for posting it. It is disturbing to the max, but we all need to watch it. The world hates us, and you can see why when you hear this soldier confess what really happens in Iraq.
I am ashamed of my country. I want to move to Europe maybe. We are the very thing we say we are fighting.

I don't think that there can possibly be such a thing as a "humane war". War is ugly business. As far as what we have done in Iraq, it's pretty bad, but it's no different than what we did in Vietnam...it's allways the civilians that get the s&%t end of the stick and it always will be. Weapons that have depleted uranium in them that have been used for years now in densely populated areas will have effects for years and years to come. I feel a terrible tragedy has ben yet again committed which has needlessly damageda generation of Iraqies, the respect the U.S. once had in this world, and the countless families that have been robbed of fathers and mothers simply because they were civic minded enough to be in the national guard. It has been a long time that I have considered myself a "world citizen", but never the less I must bite my lip when I see the taxes they take from my paycheck and the pain and suffering that it creates.

No war is humane but this one is NOT a Just war.

It is a war to enrich the oil companies and find the balls that GW lost during Vietnam.

Iraq did not attack us, was not a threat and was the only non theocratic state in the region.

Yes Saddam was a bad person, but more innocent people have been killed by this phony war than during his entire reign.

As for WMD, they were only there because Reagan gave them to the Iraqi's. The very few that have been found were old and mostly harmless and could easily have been overlooked in any effort to destroy them. I am sure that somewhere the US Army has an overlooked case of Minie balls from the Civil War.

I spent over 20 years in the US military and can say that this presidunce has done more to destroy morale and the country in general than any foreign force ever could.

First of all, there is no such thing as a humane war.

Second, this war is a waste of time because all the terrorists in question are in Afghanistan. Iraq had nothing to do with 9/11 or any other terrorist plot related to it.

Thanks to our idiot president and his administration, the balance of power has shifted to a more fanatical arabic sect. If we left Sadaam in power, Hezbollah and Iran would have been controlled. Now that he's gone, there's no one to keep them i check.

Contrary to popular belief (and christian belief for that matter), dictatorships do work in some places.

Why should we fight a humane and "just" war against the insurgents in Iraq? They're terrorists - criminals running around murdering people.

It's a just war, but I hope to hell it's NOT humane. How can a war be humane? Have you never heard the well-known quote by William Tecumseh Serman?

I think we are fighting a just war. And I think that the soldiers who are fighting over there are being very humane especially if you look at past wars.
