i'm 14 , 7or8 years ago i loved a girl who was in my class. we were in the same class for 6 years (in my country it's like that) after finishing grade 6 me and my family came to canada, so i never saw her since then. all these years , i had been loving her, but didn't know why i did so. and not long ago ,i found out that she now loves some one else. now i'm feeling like i woke up from a dream, not believing that my chilidhood ever existed....... if you read this, can you tell me what i should do ?( ...and please don't say "focus on your study" because i know it's very important)

things like that happen , just hang out with your friends and get thier support on it. if thier good friends than they will try to help as much as they can. and you can find something to keep your mind off her...maybe a hobby... or whatever. it might feel like you woke up from a dream or like reality just smacked you in the face hard but find a new girl to put intrest in. and you really dont want to try to forget her completely, you can look at it this way. it was more or a learning experience. people and things come and go fast. and remember this saying, its better to have loved than to have never loved at all.
hope i helped

You are 14 and loved a girl for 7 years. Now you are far apart, if I understand that right. It is understandable that you feel this way right now, we all have gone through it at one time or another. What you have to do is: you have to let it go. She's gone out of your life, you're way to young for any commitment, you have to move on. It will be very hard and it takes a lot of willpower but you will get over it. In the meantime, maybe you should drop her a note, just to be friends, but at least you will know whats going on in her life, Keep your notes friendly and open and if she writes back, then you'll have a friend, if she doesn't you know for sure its over. In the meantime have a big cry, it helps and its not unmanly and then keep a positive attitude and even though you didn't want to read it: keep up with your studies. The better your job will be in the future and then you can visit her,

When i was you age, i had the hugest crush on this guy. That was about 10 years back. That was the last time i saw this guy cos he migrated. Today, I still love him as much as i did 10 years ago. But i have moved on, now i'm married with a loving husband. i do still think about this guy, and ther's no way i'll ever forget him.
The idea is to acknowledge that u did all u could have, and try to look forawd, not backwards.

Give yourself a chance to meet other girls. Not that you have to stop "loving" this one girl your talking about, but you can at least open your heart for friendship with others. Once you do this, you'll start getting your confidence back and before you know it you'll suddenly realize that a whole day has gone by and you havent even thought about her!
Moving on is what happens, regardless. So move on.

Get involved in alot of things to get your mind off of things. Try writing your feelings down in some kind of journal or something, and day by day it will feel better. It takes time you're young.
