Yes, of course. If a tree falls, it will make the same sound whether or not somebody is around. The only difference is that nobody will actually hear the sound.

What we acknowledge as sound is the electrical interpretation of sound waves made by our ear organs and our brains. If there isn't a person with ears and brain to make the interpretation then there's no sound. Only sound waves. An argument could be made that there is always animals in the forest But I prefer to K.I.S.

Yes! Imagine leaving a sound-activated tape recorder in the forest. The tree would fall, you wouldn't be there, but the machine would pick up the sound. Voila.

If you fall and no one is around - wouldnt you make a sound. Of course you would! Same theory applies here. Ask any tree if you dont believe me!

in theory yes. it would make a sound. but by definition of sound no. sound is defined as Vibrations transmitted through an elastic solid or a liquid or gas, with frequencies in the approximate range of 20 to 20,000 hertz, capable of being detected by human organs of hearing.

well for once and for all i live in the northeast mountains and have had a tape player record the sound of a tree that fell all alone, and, yes it makes a sound! a horrible dying sound!

Yes, it would still make a sound, just no one is around to hear it. Just like if I person talks and no one is around, do they still make a sound?
