AKC does a DNA profile for $40. It WILL NOT prove if the dog is purebred!!!!!!! That is not available yet!!!!!!!!
Go to AKC.org and read the section on DNA profile.

If you look at the link the person above me posted, it will tell you DNA cannot prove breed.

Why do you need to know if your dog is full blooded? If your dog isn't papered and isn't an amazing specimen of the breed standard (as judged by someone competent who shows or judges your breed regularly), then the dog should not be bred. You generally need papers to show in a breed event, and I don't know that bloodwork would cut it.

first, there's NO SUCH THING as "full blooded". One must assume you meanPUREBRED.
DNA profile will *NOT* help!!! It is ONLY to determine**DIRECT PARENTAGE** from 2 dog who ALREADY *HAVE* DNA profiles on file!
If you didn't get AKC individual registration papers WITH the pup...you have a MUTT/MONGREL!

It depends on who you hire to do this testing for you. You may also be required to have other information (ex: AKC papers) in order to prove what you want to prove. The company in this link charges $40.
