I would like to learn to be stealthy, disciplined, to control my mind and emotions, to be in touch with nature and my body, and to kick @ss when necessary.

You will never find a reputable Ninja school (except in the mountains of Japan and they will kill you before you get there.)
All joking aside, there are no real ninja school in the United States. And if there is they are not advertising as they are ninja.
Besides the stealthy thing most traditional martial arts will offer the attributes you wish to acquire.
Remember training methods and teachers are more important than styles.

be very careful around anyone who claim to teach ninjutsu. I just want to warn you before you make a mistake and really disappoint yourself.

There's more fake instructor in that art than anyother. Hell I'm 100% convinced that the nearest you will get to learn a such thing is by join military or intelligent service. Ninjitsu history have been stirred up so much over years that it's almost impossible to know what they really are like. Hell it is quite possible they probably doesn't even know any hands to hands combat but they were successful simply because of their stealthiness, network, and element of surprise and weapons. I believe that any hands to hands combat ninja do is almost purely based on samurai hands to hands combat.

Many instructor who claim to teach a such art tend to be really dangerous and very sick people.

Here are some example of fraud instructor:

So may you should look into join fbi or cia or become a undercover. Ninja technique is completely useless today because you're not gonna get through all security system of today by wearing black outfit and carry weapons.

Check out a variety of martial art schools in your area. Do not limit yourself to one particular style. You will find the most important criteria to judge a school on is the instructors. You will recieve all of these benefits from any style of martial art being taught by a quality instructor. Find an instructor that meets your expectations and join that school.

Most classes that teach ninjitsu teach it as a self-defence, so no emotion/mind control.
I've done private classes with the djim marking scheme and i have 2blacks and blue. (In stealth, Weapons, Unarmed)
It isnt that hard to learn ninjitsu, so best of luck

Lol...

the only martial arts school out of Japan that teaches legitimate ninjutsu is the Bujinkan.....and even then, we study more Samurai-ryuha combat waza over ninjutsu-waza.

(Waza = technique)

The Bujinkan has nine seperate schools : 6 of which are Samurai combat schools, the other 3 are Ninjutsu combat or espionage/information gathering schools (the two that are espionage/info based are by no means loosely taught due to obvious reasons.)

Gyokko-ryū Kosshijutsu (玉虎流骨指術)
Kotō-ryū Koppōjutsu (虎倒流骨法術)
Shinden Fudō-ryū Dakentaijutsu (神伝不動流打拳体術)
Takagi Yōshin-ryū Jūtaijutsu (高木揚心流柔体術)
Kuki Shinden-ryū Happō Bikenjutsu (九鬼神伝流八法秘剣術)
Gikan-ryū Koppōjutsu (義鑑流骨法術)
Togakure-ryū Ninpō (戸隠流忍法)
Gyokushin-ryū Ninpō (玉心流忍法)
Kumogakure-ryū Ninpō (雲隠流忍法)

We work on a system loosely titled 'taijutsu...which simply means body skill' or in laymans terms : fighting with the entire body in dynamic motion.....very much unlike the "rock 'em sock 'em robot' type of body motion ala TKD or Karate.

We work with throwing, locking, strikes, chokes, nerve and bone specific attacks, weapons work from absolutely ancient to modern (handguns for example), and a lot of energy work as well.
