Taking into account that I don't KNOW, I'll say he had the family traits that were in the family of MARY.
Of course being GOD, he could have looked how he wanted.
MARY resided at Nazareth in Galilee, presumably with her parents, and looked as such.
Jesus grew up as a human, played, etc.; later as an adult worked as a carpenter, and as such was in the sun daily.
As human he would tan or burn as we do.
I look at the paintings through the years made by man, as just wanting to please the king/ruler or person buying the painting/art work in an attempt to say "your king = you look like Jesus". Couldn't be European or Japanese,Germanic or English looking - but he could - people have been talking about this for 2000+ years. Ha, I don't know. (There goes 45 minutes!! HA!)

Jesus was born, raised, and died in the Middle East. There is no doubt in my mind that he was NOT a white man. The only place I have seen white people like me come from is Europe. Pretty much everyone else is darker. I think that this whole "Jesus is white" mentality comes from the Christian Church being dominated by Europeans for most of its history.

For back then, Jesus was more like the olive completion, so both of you are right. Don't think he was actually a Caucasian as depicted in by the European painters who wanted him to look like what they are. And Jesus doesn't necessarily have to be that handsome, either.

If Jesus was born in the area of Israel approximately 2000 years ago he would be Hebrew genetics. He would not be brown nor white but more olive toned like greeks, Italians etc.
Assuming it's not a fairy tale.

Well, think about it. He was born there, Mary and Joseph, and their ansestors were born there. Scripture tells us that he was, and looked not uncommon and his looks, did not stand out among his people. That's enough to tell me and others that he looked like everone else from that part of the world. The paintings we see of Christ (with pale white skin and redish-brown hair) were artists interpretations, painted by white eastern europeans hundreds of years after his death.

Jesus became into the born the son of Mary, a Jewish female so subsequently might have a gentle brown pores and skin tone (olive tone) Early inventive representations of Jesus had the reason of portraying him to attraction to non-converts so they represented him with a lighter pores and skin tone to be greater perfect, harsh yet actual, please additionally undergo in thoughts that maximum individuals on the time have been illiterate so conveyance of the message became into completed with the aid of paintings, a great occasion of this may well be early seventh century illuminated manuscripts eg: e book of Kells. As Christianity emerged from the catacombs and grew to enhance right into a state faith, the photographs of Jesus began to handle a greater imperial look. He became into depicted in royal robes, and the halo grew to enhance into very well-known. subject concerns of the good Shepherd nonetheless proceed to be, as could be considered on the apse mosaic in the church of Santi Cosma e Damiano in Rome, the place the twelve apostles are depicted as twelve sheep under the imperial Jesus. by skill of this time Jesus had all started to be depicted with the a number of "look" that ruled lots of the historic previous of paintings, with shoulder-length hair and a beard. French student Paul Vignon has indexed fifteen similarities between countless the icons of Jesus on the time, somewhat in the icons of "Christ Pantocrator" ("The all-efficient Messiah"). truthfully - to place across a message that should galvanize. i'm speaking only from an inventive viewpoint, no longer a non secular one.

While I myself would not care if He was orange with red poka-dots. He is the Son of God, the Saviour of the World and the Coming King of Kings. However to answer your question, His shin was olive in color, remember Jesus is a Jew.

well that's how Muhammad (P) described him:
-While I was asleep, I saw myself (in a dream) making tawaf (circling) around the Ka`bah. I saw a brown-skinned man with straight hair being supported by two men, and with water dripping from his head. I asked: "Who is this?" They said: "The son of Mary." (Sahih Bukhari)
-When you see him, you will recognize him. He is of medium height, and his coloring is reddish-white. He will be wearing two garments, and his hair will look wet although no water will have wet it. (Ahmad ibn Hanbal, Musnad)

He (if he existed) must have been a Semite. If you go by that he must have been a whitish guy, not a Caucasian, with curly black hair. He was turned into a white guy by the Europeans when they adopted Christianity
