Well, some farting is to be expected.... but you could try a different dog food. Maybe a lamb and rice one made for dogs with digestive problems.
On the plus side, you can always blame him for your own gaseous emissions!

STOP farting you mean? my dog does it too...and it can be quite hilarious, but also annoying.
it is, obviously his food. if you just switched brands, that is the answer. or, if you feed table scraps, you'll have to quit doing that, or just watch what foods you give him. otherwise, a little gas here and there is perfectly healthy for anyone. :-)

well the first thing to do is to stop feeding him table foods, because the food is what does it. when you give him table foods, the food goes right through him, it's like when we eat foods that don't agree with us and then we have an upset stomache well that is what table foods do to a dog but it makes them fart. yucky

Why would you want your dog to start farting? I guess you could check with your vet and maybe feed him beans or veggies, those will make people gassy.

To START farting? Reverse the motor on your vacuum cleaner. Coat hose attachment in liver.

I agree with the others - it's his food. But if you give him green magma, or anything with chlorophill in it, it'll cut way back on the gas. I got mine at the pet supply store. Good luck.
