Do not under any circumstance interchange them in a recipe, they are not the same thing!!
Condense milk is heavy and very sweet. Evaporated milk like the name says is milk which has been evaporated so the amount of water in the product is lower therefore leaving a lite sweet richer taste. You can exchange milk for evaporated milk, just have to add water (directions are usually posted on the can).

Evaporated milk and UNSWEETENED condensed milk are very similar as they both have about 60% of the water taken out of it. HOWEVER, SWEETENED condensed milk such as that used in cooking, baking, etc. also has 60% water taken out but has about 40 - 45 % sugar added. This makes it very rich and sweet.

No they are not condensed milk has sugar add and has a thick consistency. Where as evaporated milk is just what the name implies.

condensed milk is practically milk an sugar combined evap is a very strong milk like concentrated milk so no not the same open a tin of each taste them you will be in for a shock if you think there the same

Maybe depends however, recipes will be sweeter with condensed milk. You can only exchange in dessert recipes not otherwise.

No; evaporated milk is like medium cream, and condensed milk is like heavy whipping cream and is usually sweetened. Not interchangeable !!

no condensed milk is generally sweetened and not the same as evaporated milk. do not substitute one for the other.
regular milk can be substituted for evaporated but the result will be less rich and creamy.

No, condensed is like cream and condensed is sweetened. so you can never exchange them in a recipe.
