sudden pain (only when touched) at left jaw bone. No toothache, headache. Feels like the bone had "knocked onto a hard wall"

Could be TMJ or muscle insertion pain. Been chewing a lot of gum or caramels lately?

Only thing I can think of is TMJ. See an orthodontist.......
