Short layers and how to make them look good?

I got a haircut about a month ago and the layers are way too short! Is there anything I can do to make it look better? I've been doing this half-pony thing, where I just put back the top few layers because it's too short to put it all up. Help!!!

Put a medium amount of product in your hands, and smooth it through your damp hair. Hold your head upside down, and blow dry. You will have volume, and if you add a bit of a hair wax or pomade to the ends, you will have definition. No one looks stunning in a ponytail, they look boring. Be a little different looking, and people will notice you more.

That happened to me once. The best way to hide it is to get a large barreled curling iron and wrap some of the layers around it. Do a bunch of curls and then gently finger comb or pick them out so it will look soft and feminine. Doing this will give you some height at the top and distract from the shagginess of the layers.Use a light mist of hairspray before using the curling iron will help it hold the curl.

Spray hairspray directly onto your hand and this "scruntch" handfulls of hair. It will give you that sexy messy look
