Month One
Mommy
I am only 8 inches long
but I have all my organs.
I love the sound of your voice.
Every time I hear it
I wave my arms and legs.
The sound of your heart beat
is my favorite lullaby.
Month Two
Mommy
today I learned how to suck my thumb.
If you could see me
you could definitely tell that I am a baby.
I'm not big enough to survive outside my home though.
It is so nice and warm in here.
Month Three
You know what Mommy
I'm a boy!!
I hope that makes you happy.
I always want you to be happy.
I don't like it when you cry.
You sound so sad.
It makes me sad too
and I cry with you even though
you can't hear me.
Month Four
Mommy
my hair is starting to grow.
It is very short and fine
but I will have a lot of it.
I spend a lot of my time exercising.
I can turn my head and curl my fingers and toes
and stretch my arms and legs.
I am becoming quite good at it too.
Month Five
You went to the doctor today.
Mommy, he lied to you.
He said that I'm not a baby.
I am a baby Mommy, your baby.
I think and feel.
Mommy, what's abortion?
Month Six
I can hear that doctor again.
I don't like him.
He seems cold and heartless.
Something is intruding my home.
The doctor called it a needle.
Mommy what is it? It burns!
Please make him stop!
I can't get away from it!
Mommy! HELP me!
Month Seven
Mommy
I am okay.
I am in Jesus's arms.
He is holding me.
He told me about abortion.
Why didn't you want me Mommy?

I have never seen it before so I am sorry if it is a repeat. Nothing ever makes me cry but this is real sad. It hits you worse when you are already a parent.

Brooke R wht are you saying that about me? I am against it. Or I never would have posted this. I got pregnant in high school and had my little boy because I believe abortion to be murder. Think befor you post next time, will you?

And you god nose, I am not a bible thumping freak, I do not even go to church. I an all for rape victims taking care of it if the fell they HAVE to. I read on here a 15 year old had a child who was two that was asking about who her father was. he was in prison for raping her. She kept her child.

So what if the months are off, doesn't matter. A baby is a baby no matter what month you are in. From the moment you have sex and concieved that baby, that's exactly what it is, a BABY!!!!!
I've read this poem before and it's really moving, wish more people would understand how much a baby really feels even so early on. You may not be able to feel a baby move until you are closer to 18-20 weeks, but who cares, that baby feels your heartbeat, your noises that your body makes and feels the vibration of your voice. Your baby has a heartbeat in those early weeks, don't let anyone say that they don't.
I am always so saddened about why people would abort a baby, it took me a long time to get pregnant and than to end up losing her to an infection I got, I wanted my baby from the moment I found out I was pregnant. It's been a year and 4 months since I lost her and I think about her every single day. I have been fighting to keep the baby I carry now, starting with uncomfortable vaginal u/s at 16 weeks and having them every 2 weeks until 30 weeks. I pray everyday for this baby. I pray others would reconsider having abortions.

Can you even get an abortion at seven months?You shouldn't print this, sometimes abortions have to be done. How would you feel right now if you had just had an abortion and you just read this? How would you feel if your father had raped you a couple of months ago and you found out you were pregnant. For a few days you had struggled with whether or not to get an abortion. Finally you decided to abort the child because you love it and you wouldn't want to bring to into this world retarded,and unwanted, and then you read this crap! How would you feel? Or is it that your small mind is just too small to feel compassion for someone who just went through something so terrible YOU CAN'T imagine. Remember you bible thumping freak there are always two sides to the story!

That is about the saddest thing I have ever read. I think I am going to cry. I could never have an abortion. A baby is a baby long before it is born.

OMG, That Is sooo sad. I almost cried. I am going to send it to every one I know. I hope that abortion stops soon. It seems harmless but it is murder. There was this one guy and he killed his pregnant wife, so he was charged with two murders. If he was charged with killing his unborn son, then how come people who have abortion don't get charged with murder???? It is just unfair I mean come on.................

i am the mother of a three year old i am concieving my second child this month, but you know what, things happen in peoples lives and pasts that sometimes that is the only option......not by choice......and second of all....you tell me who gets an abortion when they 6 months pregnant......this obviously started with an activist way back whenever.....it is a sad poem, but we live in reality, not upset with you but people should think before they send stupid emails. thanks for letting me vent
