I'd save so much time shaving everyday!

An auto accident broke both my legs so badly that I no longer have the use of them, so I guess you could say I am as close to that predicament as anyone. My legs had to stay straight, with no bend in them for one year. I wore a brace on each leg, to keep them straight. So now, three years later, my legs do not bend at the knee at all and I cannot get off the bed or anything without extreme help. I am a relatively young and otherwise very healthy woman and I am in or rather on the bed 24/7. I was quite depressed for a time, however I finally realized that acceptance was crucial to my sanity. My family is the bomb, and they got me a computer. It has opened up the outside world. I swear to my maker I do not feel sorry for myself! This is very hard, but I am loved, I have the most wonderful husband that God let breath, I can see, hear the beautiful gift of music, and truly through God's mercy, I am alive!!!!! I keep up with fashion, put on my make-up everyday, and I love shopping and getting stuff in the mail. I am blessed.

Keep living. That's not the end of the world. I'd get a prosthesis
& learn to walk & function. I'd be just as independant as before.
I sure wouldn't have Pity Parties.

I'd get some fake ones on ebay. Possible to buy just about anything if you know where to look!

if i were born without them then how could i miss them? but if i had lost them somehow by GODS grace i would learn to cope and do the best i could.
