Well were did u get the dog? They could not tell you?
You HAVE to take your dog in for his shots and at the same time your vet can assess the approximate age of the dog by looking at his size, teeth and other tell tale growth related items.

When the puppy starts losing the baby teeth, it is about 6 months. If he has already lost them, he is over 6 months. See a vet. They can give you a better idea, and the pup would need shots and worming anyway!!!

usually a vet can tell the age of a puppy by the teeth. you will need to take your puppy to your vet and have them look. there would be no way to tell age without seeing the dog

Yes you need to talk to a vet...IF you do not know...
You can tell young by the size and color of teeth they will be small and SHARP and whiter.
For older they are big rounded and might have yellowish to them, or not as white.

It is as simple as picking up the pup, putting it in the car, and driving it to the vet. The vet can estimate how old the pup is. GEEZ!
